This auction is for a paperweight from the 1929 inauguration of Transcontinental Airline Service. The airline, Transcontinental Air Transport (founded by Charles Lindbergh) could only fly during the day. So the airline partnered with the two best railroads—the PRR and the ATSF, to provide transportation at night. The route of the service is detailed on the brass paperweight. It is in excellent condition with authentic 97 year old patina. The item is 4” x 3”. Please see pics for more details Thank you
