The Erie Railroad was a major northeast US carrier, serving the states of New York, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Ohio, Indiana and Illinois. For auction is an employee rule book entitled "Instructions on the Use of Fire Extinguishers". It is dated October 1955, It contains photos of and instructions for 7 different types of extinguishers used on the Erie, to include which type extinguisher to use on specfic types of fires.
