The Central of Georgia Railway Company (CofGa) was a regional carrier that served the states of Georgia, Alabama, and Tennessee. Most of its trackage was in Georgia, where it served the major cities of Atlanta, Savannah, Augusta, Macon and Columbus. Lines from Georgia extended to Birmingham, Montgomery and other smaller cities and towns in Alabama, but its sole penetration into Tennessee was a route to Chattanooga. For auction is a rule book from the CofGa: "Agreement Between Central of Georgia Railway Company and All That Class of Clerical, Office, Station & Storehouse Employees. It is dated December 1, 1956. It addresses such topics as pay and overtime, leave, grievances, health and safety, seniority, etc.
