The Southern Pacific Railroad (SP) was one of the major western US railroads. The SP, like most major railroads, published a monthly company magazine. These were issued to customers and the general public as an advertising medium. The SP's publication was titled "The Southern Pacific Bulletin". It contained feature stories about the SP and railroading, stories about its customers and the region it served, and news about the company and its employees. All were illustrated. The "Bulletin" was printed on high-quality paper stock and measured appx 7 1/2 x 5 inches, unopened. The number of pages varied by edition. For auction is the October 1959 edition of the "Bulletin".
