For auction is a rule book from the former Norfolk & Western Railway (N&W). It is the "Master Agreement with the Craft or Class of Clerical, Office, Station and Storehouse Employees", dated January 1, 1965. Employees covered included workers who spent at least 4 hours per day in writing or calculating records, billing, correspondence, ticket sellers, clerical machine operations, data processors, yard clerks, warehouse/storehouse foremen and assistants, to name a few. Office boys and messages were not covered, along with workers doing mechanical chores. This document covers topics such as seniority, rating positions for pay purposes; discipline, holiday pay, work week, starting time, transfers, furloughs, women (women were to be paid the same amount as men for the same job), many others.
