For auction is a rule book dated 1967 between Southern Railway and its subsidiary lines, and their Signalmen. The book contains all work rules as they apply to train signalmen, their pay scales and benefits, for both passenger and freight service. Among the numerous topics covered are hours of service, meals, overtime, seniority, work day definition, injuries, rest days, transfers, many more. In addition to Southern, the rules apply on the following subsidiaries: Cincinnati, New Orleans and Texas Pacific; Alabama Great Southern; New Orleans & Northeastern; New Orleans Terminal; Georgia Southern & Florida; St. Johns River Terminal; and Harriman & Northeastern.
