The Portland Terminal Railroad (PTRC) is a joint terminal railroad of the Union Pacific Railroad and the Burlington Northern Santa Fe, which operates several key rail lines, as well as the Guild's Lake Yard, within the city of Portland. For auction is a rule book entitled "Agreement between Portland Terminal Railroad Company and its employees represented by the United Transportaion Union." It is dated December 1, 1968. This booklet covers such topics as rates of pay, promotions and demotions, discipline, hours of service and other rules related to employment.
