The Canadian Pacific Railroad (CP) is one of the two major railroads serving Canada; it has over 14,000 miles of trackage in both Canada and the United States. Its lines stretch from Montreal in eastern Canada to Vancouver on the Pacific Coast, with extensions into the US as far as Chicago, New York, Detroit and Philadelphia. Over the years, the CP also owned and operated an airline, steamships, ocean ships, lake steamers and hotels, but it has divested itself of these interests. For auction is a system map of the CP, dated 2014. One side is a map of North America, on which all CP lines are marked in red; major connecting rail lines are noted in black. The map covers the Canadian Provinces, 48 United States, and northern Mexico.
