The rail network is subject to regular maintenance and upgrades, including engineering works that impact train services. During this time, the following temporary timetable will be in place on South West Rail.
As part of the necessary work, Network Rail engineers are making improvements to the rail line at stations near Exeter Airport and other locations in Devon. The works will include upgrading signals and renewing track components.
Temporary timetables will be introduced from 6th March, with services reduced by one train per hour between stations. Peak hours will also see a reduction due to the increased frequency of trains. As usual, you can expect some disruption, but Network Rail is working closely with local authorities and passenger groups to minimize the impact.
The revised timetable will take effect on Monday 6th March and will remain in place until further notice. Please check your journey planner or consult our website for the most up-to-date information.
