29 Lough Tunnel B&O Railroad Berryburg Clinchfield Coal Co. 8x10 Photo 1948 Lot

The tunnel was used for coal and coke trains moving between the B&O’s main line and sidings in Berryburg. The Lough Tunnel was eventually decommissioned as part of this process, with the B&O ceasing operations on the Berryburg section in the 1970s.
