A nice example of a Premier Carbide Lamp made from the 1920's onwards by The Crestella Engineering Company Ltd. This lamp looks to be complete, however I'm not an expert, there is no obvious damage, and as I don't know how, it's Untested. These lamps were extensively issued to Miners and Railway workers, although I can't find a railway mark, this particular model with the heavy brass work and turned wooden handle were more likely to be used on the railway when holding the lamp and walking long distances along the tracks. Please take a good look at the pictures to confirm you are happy with the item and my description. The condition is as shown in the pictures, with light surface corrosion and paint loss in places.
