This is a rare lantern. The Kentucky Indiana Terminal RR was just a small company that built a bridge across the Ohio river to Lower cost of goods crossing the river as the L&N line and Pennsylvania RR had all the bridges and it was to expensive for smaller companies to use there RR. The Ky IN T was run from1903 till 1982 when it was sold. There are many of these lanterns to go around. They are rare because of the size and time of the RR. This lantern is in excellent condition no signs of abuse or extensive ware. It would be a special pc in a collection for sure.
