Offered is an Antique ~ Dietz Scout "Boy Scout" Lantern or skater lantern. It is stamped Dietz Scout on smoke dome but hard to read because of heat & rust from use. The top is perhaps the only portion a little far gone. The lantern is straight, solid bail and wire guards and lower frame is good. Fuel pot is very good, does not leak, and the twists in burner works excellent. The Glass Globe is embossed DIETZ SCOUT ~ N.Y. USA ~ & H5 on backside top. No cracks, bold strike on letters. If looking for parts besides the smoke dome, this is all good for that. Or restore it! Ships USPS ( economy or priority ) you select, in 7"X7" X 6" box.
