We are unsure if this was originally a gas, oil / kerosene, inverted arc or hollow wire lamp - we'll leave it up to you if you'd like to take it back to its original, or convert it to electric. The bottom gallery-crown globe holder has a vent that opens and closes with the brass ball on the underside, and it moves well.
This product would be a great fit for antique or vintage enthusiasts.
