Prototype: Model of the ÖBB 214, one of the famous "inverted" locomotives designed by Gölsdorf. Instead of the usual axle design 2D1, he opted for 1D2, so two running axles under the firebox and one running axle at the front of the locomotive. The firebox could therefore be made large without the load on the rails becoming too high. From 1926 13 copies of these locomotives were built. The first loco had three cylinders, the 12 other two. They were numbered in series 214, later series 12.
