I have owned this model from new and can confirm that is has had very little running ( less than 2 hours). Recently tested and it runs very well at all speeds in both forwards and reverse. I have added real coal to the tender and added a fireman and driver and front lamps. I always add weight to the front bogie to reduce derailments and on this loco I have blue tacked extra weight to increase traction though this can easily be removed.
