This is a Britains Ltd No. 1 Railway Signal in its original box. The signal is in superb original condition and fully functional. The pole is made from wood and the other components are metal. It comes within its original Britains carded box that is in excellent condition for its age. There are no repairs to the box, but some water staining and storage wear. The signal is missing its green and red filter lenses, but this is easily obtainable and a simple fix. The signal measures approximately 27cm tall. It was produced by Britains Ltd in the 1920’s for Bassett Lowke’s gauge 1 trains. An extremely rare item, particularly in its original box.
