This 48 page little book measures some 21cm x 13.5 cm and was written by Leonora Fry for publishers Methuen & Co Ltd as one of the ,”Get to Know,” series aimed at school children. This is the original 1950 edition. It is ex a school library and is stamped, “Londonderry High School Library.” Illustrated with line drawings by C W Huxtable. Some wear to front and back covers as per photos and what seems to be a small ink blot at top of front cover. Paperback. Two small nicks on right hand side of front cover. Despite being over 70 years old this book still provides an interesting and informative read for the young and not so young Dispatched via 2nd class Royal Mail.
