British Railways Western Region Assured Next Day Arrival Service Pamphlet Featuring Western Locomotive D813. Printed as part of the launch for this new service in January 1962. Printed in December 1961. The leaflet is in very good condition, without any obvious damage or folds. This was rescued by the publicity office at Paddington when it was cleared in the 1970s, so may be a pre production copy. It has a shiny cover which interestingly doesn’t cover the edges of the cover (difficult to photograph as it’s shiny). It measures 6 inches in width and 8 inches in height (approx).
