Seen here is the joint GWR/LSWR station at Weymouth in 1931. The overall roof of Brunel's design was removed twenty years later. The centre part of the station with 263ft roof span was used by GWR trains, and the smaller train sheds at the left and right dealt with LSWR arrivals and departures respectively.
