The reverse has a handwritten pencil annotation reading "Battersea" and "KS 4168/20". There is also a blue ink stamp that reads "Photo. G. ALLIEZ.". above the stamped number "6043". It shows a steam locomotive parked outside an industrial brick building with large windows and doors.
