This is a scarce cWW1 vintage The “Harlesden” Series English made board game entitled STATION TO STATION An Instructive And Exciting Game.It is Pre grouping and the train journey starts in Penzance For Lands End and ends up in Thurso For John O’Groats with a large percentage of the Railway lines, junctions and stations ie Sidmouth Junction in Devon that have long since closed pre the Beeching Act.The Board is in a good used condition and the box is in a good condition with obvious signs of damage to the sides of the box with some sellotape repairs.The three trains are made of white metal and I believe the Coronation express train might well have come from another game as it would date from c1935-39.The boxes overall measurements are 31cm long x 21.4cm wide x 3.5cm deep.
