Exceptional quality c. 1911 Dietz Monitor slide door motor truck side lantern. Has burner pot still with a wick. Glass unblemished. All parts work, open and close easily. Have added a photo of a nearly identical lantern on a 1918 Mack AC truck. The Mack AC was introduced in 1916. Many saw service in Europe during WWI where British troops nicknamed them the "Bulldogs" owing to their strength, hence the adoption of the bulldog as the symbol for Mack trucks.
