Duke Power (D.P.Co) Streetcar or Bus Transit Tickets strip of 4 from 1930/40's

£18.11

This is a strip of 4 vintage transit fare tickets issued by Duke Power Co. and printed by the Elliott Ticket Company of New York City. In addition to providing electricity, Duke Power operated municipal streetcar and bus transit lines during the first half of the 20th century. The back of the ticket features the signature of E.C. Marshall, who served first as vice president, then as president of Duke during the 1930's and 40's. Each ticket was good for one fare. These are in excellent vintage condition as they have been stored in a plastic sleeve. They are unpunched. The strip of four is printed on light cardboard and measures 2" x 4".
