The most important component of the new LokSound V4.0 decoder is the noise module. We have therefore given the LokSound V4.0 a super-large 32 Mbit flash memory chip on which up to 276 seconds of original sounds can be stored. The LokSound V4.0 works with 8 polyphonic channels. This means that up to eight sounds can be routed simultaneously via the 16-bit mixer and the new low-noise D/A converter. This allows us to achieve a much better representation of the complex aggregates of the model because we can “bundle” several channels. You will notice the difference immediately!
