This is a quality Southern Railway solid silver gilt and enamel medallion awarded For 50 Years Railway Service.It is manufactured by J.A.Wylie&Co and it has a Birmingham silver hallmark for 1948.It has the name J.Parker and the date 1897-1947 engraved on the back and it is in an excellent condition measuring 3.3cm long x 2.9cm wide and comes complete with its original box.
