This brief case was used by a British Railways Driver for many years. It was passed to me by his widow many years ago. I do not know whether it was standard issue on the railways. As can be seen in the photos it does have a BR logo lining but this may have been inserted by the former Driver himself. It has areas of wear but the structure of the case is not compromised. This wear may be considered as a nod to its history over many years travelling in the cab of a locomotive. I do not have the key. Both locks open easily but note slight surface corrosion on them. Please study photos carefully.
