This is a very well used and worn teapot, I chose to keep it in its original state only rinsing with soap and water. You’ll see in the photos that the bottom of the handle has gotten to close to the fire at one time in its long life, although it still seems pretty sturdy. This is a great vintage rustic farmhouse decor piece!! Not sure if the actual age of the pot but the company was in business from approximately 1900-1960. Thanks for looking
