This is a relatively early example of the classic Hammant and Morgan "Safety Minor" mains power unit. This particular Safety Minor is in the less common style of a light grey case with a horizontal top and a 20 degree backward sloping silver-finished fascia, and as such might be useful for a layout constructed in the 1960s.
