This is a standard old tooling Hornby Brighton Works model. As shown in the photos, it has been modified to bring it further up to date, such as the sandboxes cut off on the front, lamp irons, pipe work, and a weathering job. This weathering job is about 99% complete as seen on one side but it’s easily finishable. The model is DCC fitted with a Hornby chip. Wheels a bit dirty and could use a service, but apart from that I recall it to be a smooth, reliable runner. It can also run on DC.
