The HORNBY R1036 "SMOKEY JOE" TRAIN SET BOXED is a nostalgic starter set featuring a replica of the British Rail train from Era 6. This OO gauge model is painted in a sleek black colour, adding a realistic touch to your train collection. The set includes all the necessary components to create a DIY railway layout, making it a perfect addition for collectors and enthusiasts looking to recreate the charm of British Rail in the 1960s and 1970s. The set is missing the buffer stop. The box for the low wagon requires some tape to fix it. Box torn at one end as per photos. However two double straights have been added and the power connection is from a power track rather than the power clips (I have left these in the set). Loco runs ok, my benefit from servicing.
