Hornby R30215 Pair of Class 43 HST Power Cars 43022 and 43052 in HM Queen Elizabeth II Platinum Jubilee LNER grey. The power car is fitted with a strong 5 pole motor, flywheel, and dual bogie drive. It would be nice to think that if the big four were never nationalised that we would still be able to see steam regularly on the mainline however this view is shrouded in nostalgia and ignores the operational benefits that diesel locomotives bring.
