These were a very early, maybe even first, digital controller for railway sets, mainly used with OO they were infact compatible with other scales. These had adjustable inertia, controlled upto 16 locos and 100 points. Available were slave units to allow more than one speed to be adjusted at the same time. Very impressive system to be honest.
The Hornby R950 Master Control Unit, boxed, would be a great fit for remote control systems in traditional or HO scale railway layouts, offering advanced features for layout operation and expansion.
