This very nice N gauge locomotive by Kato is 176-5501 an EMD SD80MAC in Conrail livery, it has running number 4103. The SD80MAC was a 5,000 horsepower (3.7 MW) C-C diesel-electric locomotive. After the split of Conrail in 1999, the SD80MACs were split up between the Norfolk Southern Railway and CSX Transportation.
