National Rail had a final version as TLNK which is much less seen, but clearly in 2004 were still using up the BR cards (BR 4599/14)! APTIS was the Accountancy and Passenger Ticket Issuing System, mainstream machines were used on the British Rail/National Rail network from October 1986 until June 2007, a wide variety of printed cards was used.
