Coalville depot was where it all takes place which was smack bang in the middle of the Leicester line which stretches from Knighton Junction (Leicester) and Leicester Junction (Burton-on-Trent). Coalville was first and foremost a coal depot serving the Coalfields of Leicestershire and Derbyshire.
