It's very easy to illuminate buildings (advertising), locomotives and everything that rolls. It is a PMMA plastic optical fiber with a diameter of 0.5mm. The principle works like this: You put light in at one end of the fiber and this light comes out at the opposite end of the fiber, without heat, without UV rays, completely voltage-free. You can divide the individual fibers as often as you want, the light always comes out where you cut them off. The advantage is that you only need one light source, for example an LED or something, with which you can supply multiple light points. Simply gather the fibers together in a sleeve and place them in front of a light source. The light is guided with any light color, so in principle you can also pass green light through. The PMMA fibers are not coa.
This product would be ideal for applications requiring flexible, indoor lighting distribution, such as in stage setups, theaters, or greenhouses.
