The locomotive shown is the 4-6-2 four-cylinder "Duchess of Gloucester", No. 6225, of the Coronation class. These great steam-driven monsters are streamlined like No. 6220 Coronation, but, instead of being painted blue and silver, they carry the standard crimson lake colour of the LMS Railway.
