This is a decorative plaque featuring the historic crest of the London, Midland and Scottish Railway Company (LMS), which was one of Britain's "Big Four" railway companies from 1923 to 1947 The circular design displays a traditional heraldic emblem that combines symbols representing England and Scotland, specifically featuring a St. George's cross, a red rose, and a thistle. Size: 46cm squared. This has been in the family since the late 70's into 80's. Starting to downsize & would be ideal for train enthusiasts man/woman cave or office. Does have a couple of small flaws. A little chip on the side & a bit of paint come off on the front. This does not affect the picture & still looks fab on a wall. Please see pictures.
