The front and back hard covers can be pulled away a little from the spine which has lost its top layer. There is also marked foxing on the pages and edges but they are not dog-eared. I wouldn't describe this as being in good condition but is acceptable for its age and will appeal to people who are interested in steam locomotives as there is a lot of history in here.
