We are delighted to bring to you this rare railway sign from Manchester Oxford Road Station, England. This piece dates from the late 1940's. The sign is made from steel covered with painted red enamel with white lettering. This sign was part of the London Midland Region. All signs within this network used this colouring. This is a very large piece and is 9ft wide and 3 ft high. Due to the size, wooden bracing has been added to the back. There are signs of wear as can be seen in the pictures.
