Ffestiniog Railway - Taliesin as built in 1876. This kit depicts Taliesin I in 'As built' 1876 condition before the cab was quickly cut down later that Autumn to fit the tunnels’ loading gauge. Our Taliesin kits use the Bachmann Sir Handel / Sir Haydn chassis, with a pony truck to make the Taliesin a 0-4-2-2 rather than a traditional farlie locomotive.
