The Monon's first NW2 built in February 1942 was the DS-1. In 1947 it was renumbered 11. In 1972 it was sold to Industrial Maintenance Service in Hammond, IN and rebuilt in the old Monon South Hammond roundhouse and sold to the EJ&E as #447.
This product would be ideal for individuals restoring or maintaining older Monon Railroad NW2 #11 locomotive headlight systems from the 1953 to 1954 timeframe.
