This is an MTH HO Union Pacific 9000 4-12-2 heavy steam locomotive it is nearly new and is in excellent condition. It is fitted with DCC/DCS control , sound and smoke and is in excellent condition with no damage that I can see. Unlike the original locomotive which had solid frames, the front set of drivers is articulated to allow the negotiation of tighter curves. The original was a 3 cylinder loco with the centre cylinder valve gear driven by conjugated valve gear from the outer cylinders similar to that fitted to a Gresley A4. I don't know which came first the Gresley or the UP,. this is faithfully reproduced on the model. Any questions please ask
