It is a direct replacement for the older Bardic lamp. The lamp is designed to be operated easily, even when wearing gloves. It is constructed from high-impact resistant polycarbonate. The LED handlamp has a longer battery life compared to older filament lamps, with a battery life of up to 20 hours of continuous use. Item was purchased new and has never been used.
