The round tank evaporator, which was newly developed from the ground up, combines the clock-synchronous funnel and cylinder vaping functions that were previously considered impossible in a single, compact unit. The special round design with an outer diameter of only 30 mm now finally allows installation in real round shells, even with small scale shell diameters. This means that even smaller locomotives such as the LGB Stainz or Franzburg can be equipped with this technical marvel. Equally unique is the low power consumption (max. 600mA, on average only 400mA). Third-party products sometimes require a multiple of the power, which can be at the expense of the built-in electronics and wiring. With the diesel mode that can be activated, the evaporator is of course also ideal for diesel locomo.
