For sale is an employee's kerosene lantern from the New York Central Railroad. It was manufactured by Dietz Vesta. The initials "NEW YORK CENTRSL." are on the lip edge. The lantern has an unmarked white globe and a fuel pot. It stands appx 9 inches tall (not including the handle) and appx 6 inches at the base. The lantern needs a little restoration but appears to be structurally sound. There is some spot rust and pitting, and it needs a general cleanup. With some TLC, this lantern should restore superbly.
