O Gauge model Railway Buildings GWR Sand Bin & Furnace Kit. This is a highly detailed kit of the sand bin and furnace found up and down the Great Western system and often built next to the coal stage. Dimensions have been taken from the drawing found in ‘An Historical Survey of Great Western Engine Sheds 1947’ by E Lyons. Aimed at the modeller with a modicum of modelling experience, the kit contains all laser cut parts to build the inner and outer walls, Plastruct H section corner posts, doors, windows, glazing, 3D printed door knob and pre-cut plasticard corrugated sections. You will need glue and paints to complete the model. Full instructions are included. The model is built to accurate 7mm/ft scale and is suitable for O Gauge and Scaleseven.
