The Unicorn is a symbol of purity, innocence and power in Celtic mythology and it's Scotland's national animal. Unicorns have been styled to be proud independent creatures, difficult to conquer and even though they're mythological, their significance enables them to be represented throughout the British Isles and the White Unicorn Rampant is hugely symbolic as it features on the sovereign's Royal Coat of Arms along with the Golden Lion Rampant.
