This is a 009 Dockyard Diesel Shunter Body For mounting onto a KATO 109 chassis. It fits easily into place onto the Kato chassis and securely clips into place and the body is then a push fit into the sub-chassis. This allows for easy painting prior to assembly and you can re-use the chassis if needed. The kit is printed using high detail resin in the UK and features laser cut glazing and replacement couplers to use with the Peco Hook and loop couplers. In addition a small piece of brass wire is supplied to fashion the handrails. Holes are present to fit the handrails. The sale is for the body, glazing, couplers and sub-chassis only, it is unpainted and supplied without the KATO chassis which is shown for information only. May require some minor finishing if required before pain.
